Technical Repair and Support Specialist - New Zealand (Wellington)

Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand

The Role

You will apply your previous experience to perform the following principal duties:

  • Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on Hyosung ATM modules, including Hyosung cash/coin recyclers and cash redemption terminals.
  • Complete repairs, testing, and configuration within the required timeframes.
  • Update/check software on specific modules prior to shelving or dispatch.
  • Create and complete service reports events in Salesforce.
  • Escalate unrepaired modules to internal teams or external third party vendors.
  • Escalate trends in faults related to defects or user errors.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of operational procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to resolve Hyosung hardware and software issues.

About You

  • Certificate III or IV in Electronics and Communication, or engineering.
  • Experienced with Hyosung products with strong understanding of circuit boards, and diagnostic tools. (desirable)
  • Experience with soldering, fault finding, and repairs.
  • Familiarity with Hyosung documentation, and mustimeters. (desirable)
  • Ability to read and interpret Hyosung products technical schematics. (desirable)

Research and Development Engineer - VIC

Cheltenham, Melbourne, VIC

The Role

The Research and Development Engineer is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and improving the architecture, hardware, software, and networking of payment solutions, ensuring a high availability for all Next Payments’ payment solutions, customers and all products and services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Next Payments Operations in the development and maintenance of new and existing hardware, software and associated services.
  • Create and implement change management plans.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external service providers to implement and maintain new and existing infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain user documentation on processes, policies, hardware and application configuration and help related materials as new products and services are developed.
  • Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities are in place and regularly tested for systems in your areas of responsibility.

About You

  • Ability to build strong relationships both inside and outside the organisation.
  • Excellent learning and researching skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels of staff.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.

System Operations Specialist - VIC

The Role

Reporting to the System Operations Coordinator this role is responsible for fleet optimisation and providing high quality service and technical escalation support for the Next Payments’ technical team.

Some of the principal duties include:

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of operations procedures.
  • Create documentation for training and coaching purposes.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Provide regular escalation support to technical team and technical partners.
  • Utilise monitoring tools and system logs to build a detailed issue case.
  • Complete detailed analysis of escalated issues.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or Business, or industry certification (highly desirable)
  • Approximately 2 years previous experience in IT related Helpdesk/System Operations.
  • Previous experience with call management systems and monitoring systems.
  • Excellent PC skills.
  • Machine maintenance and assembly experience
  • Software set up and support capabilities
  • Router/network configuration experience

Field Technician - NSW

North Parramatta, Sydney NSW

The Role

This role will provide you with invaluable experience and opportunity for growth all whilst working in a passionate, safe, and friendly workplace culture.

You will apply your acquired technical skills and experience to perform the following principal duties:

  • Installation, relocation, repair, and preventative maintenance of ATM/Cash Recycler/Coin recycler/Cash Express/Cash Redemption Terminal/EFTPOS.
  • Participate in an alternating on-call roster shared amongst field technician team, including afterhours break/fix response, covering our service hours of 0800 - 2200, 7 days a week.
  • Ability to work independently at customer sites.
  • Attend and resolve assigned service requests in a timely manner.
  • Complete accurate and detailed service report (update, closing notes and parts used).
  • Cooperate and liaise with technical team and share information across the organisation.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Field Technician.
  • Experience in the ATM, Gaming/EFTPOS industry would be highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Friendly team player.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Willingness to obtain 'Gaming machine technician licence' and 'Casino special employee licence' with fees covered by the company.

Business Development Manager - NSW

The Role

  • Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you are responsible for creating new business in gaming venues within NSW.
  • Opportunity for sales in NSW are abundant – meeting sales targets will be critical.
  • Use existing relationships to book meetings.
  • Attend industry networking events and functions.
  • Make use of CRM software to track sales and maintain a diary of appointments.
  • Travel NSW as required to attend sites and gain sales.
  • Work with other BDMs in the state, plus all other staff.

About You

  • Ability to work autonomously to generate leads and convert sales effectively.
  • A confident salesperson, with strong networking and communication skills is essential for this role.
