Tim Wildash is a leader in Australia and New Zealand’s payments and technology sectors, having founded and led multiple successful payments companies over a period of 20 years. Tim is responsible for the strategic direction of Next Payments and expanding the business by identifying and leveraging new opportunities. He is an experienced chief executive with a passion for innovating payments solutions. Tim brings a customer-centric approach to payments, with a keen focus on and an understanding of how each customer’s business works – and how Next Payments can help improve their business.
Tim has been the recipient of multiple awards, the biggest one being Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the King’s Birthday Honours 2025 - recognising his outstanding contribution and service to the cash management industry. A truly remarkable and well-deserved recognition - one of the highest honours an Australian can receive.
Plus, Tim has a long and successful relationship with Macquarie Group, with whom he has partnered again in establishing Next Payments.

HK Kang
Chief Technology Officer
HK is the Chief Technology Officer at Next Payments and is responsible for delivering new hardware and software technology innovations that are customised for the local market. He previously worked with a supplier to Next Payments, Hyosung TNS, as General Manager of Research and Development in Korea. HK is an award-winning researcher and adviser for technology-intensive firms.

Larisa Terentev
Chief Financial Officer
Larisa has been in the payments sector for 25 years. She holds an MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and is responsible for managing finances, including: financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting.

Mark Beddoe
Chief Product Officer
Mark is a founding member of Next Payments with over 25 years of experience in payments and product development for the hospitality and retail markets. Mark’s experience helps ensure Next Payments’ products and services are best in class, and that they drive return on investment for its partners.

Tyson Lester
General Manager - Sales and Marketing
Tyson has been in the payments sector for 20 years in a variety of roles, including Operations and Sales Manager. As General Manager at Next Payments, his contribution has seen the company evolve into one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest privately owned payments businesses.

Ehab Zakout
Operations Manager
Ehab manages the Next Payments operations portfolio across Australia and New Zealand, for remote/field support, servicing software and hardware of payments solutions. Ehab has over 20 years management experience within the IT sector and a proven track record in utilising sound business acumen. His service-orientated management skills deliver effective, customer-orientated outcomes.
