Merrylands RSL Club is a popular entertainment venue in Western Sydney. With a community-focus, the club brings members and guests together through dining, gaming, events, and entertainment.

Through GSL, Merrylands RSL members can put their rewards towards everyday expenses, whether that’s groceries, petrol, dining, bills, or other day-to-day purchases. Members can also top up the card with their own funds, adding another layer of convenience and flexibility.

The club also uses GSL Rewards cards for promotions, giveaways and member prizes, giving the venue a flexible way to issue rewards on the spot.

Within five months of implementing GSL, Merrylands RSL Club saw strong member adoption and clear signs that the product was supporting both loyalty engagement and in-venue spending:

  • 1,250 active cardholders within five months
  • Average of 250 member activations per month
  • 43% of all card transactions occurred within the club
  • 27% of all gift card transactions occurred within the club
